A few entrepreneurial alumni have parked their livelihoods in food trucks. This includes Lynette Gueits-Sutton, WEV’06, who has turned her one Delicias Food Truck into multiple trucks and a storefront restaurant in Philadelphia, and Stephen Adelson, WG’90, who owns and operates the Carnivore BBQ food truck empire in Washington, D.C., with five vehicles in all.

We detail their motivations and experiences in the article, “Parked and Cooking,” from our Summer 2014 Wharton Magazine. Read it here.

We also captured a lot of the energy, and the good eats, of their food truck enterprises in photos. (Disclaimer: These photos are not as eating the actual food, though they are excellent photos.) Photo credits: Jason Varney in Philadelphia and Mark Finkenstaedt in Washington.
