Mandy Ginsberg WG01 shared her Wharton Effect with us—in fact, two. The recently named CEO of Match Group North America was on campus to meet with Wharton MBA students and was kind enough to share some of her time with Wharton Magazine.
She testifies to how Wharton had such an impact on her career, but “it’s not just this amazing institution on your resume,” she says. It’s about the relationships. Ginsberg relates the very personal story of a tribulation she faced early on as a Wharton MBA student. She found herself a single mother in one of the most challenging academic environments in the world. Her learning team supported her throughout.
Since her days on campus, she has continued to benefit from the “deep, lasting relationships” that she made with classmates—people with whom she has shared both the highs and the lows and has connected on “really tough topics.”
Let her explain in her own words. Watch the video below.
