Allen Siegel WG83 passed away on October 11, 2023. He fought a courageous four-year battle with cholangiocarcinoma and continued to inspire those around him with his strength and resilience every single day. Allen led a distinguished career spanning four decades in the finance industry. He began his career in public accounting as a CPA. After Wharton, he became an extremely accomplished trader of mortgage-backed securities at Citi and then First Boston under Larry Fink. Most recently, he served as managing director at CastleOak Securities, where his leadership and expertise left an indelible mark on the organization. His dedication to his work was matched by his unwavering commitment to his family, including his beloved wife of 37 years, Maddee; their four children; and three grandchildren. As a father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and lifelong friend to many, he embodied the values of family, love, and integrity in every aspect of his life. Beyond his professional achievements, Allen was a man of many passions. He had a profound love for his family and their golden retrievers, and his enthusiasm for cooking led him to write a cherished cookbook. His legacy of love, dedication, and culinary excellence will be remembered by all who knew him. Friends and colleagues wishing to send messages to the family or request a copy of his cookbook can reach out to one of his daughters, Kelsey, at kelseysiegel1@gmail.com. Allen will be deeply missed.
