“We’re running out of time to be the person we already say that we are,” Dante Pearson WG17 said to a packed Palestra last month. “Now is the time to start being you.” His speech had everything you’d want from a graduation address: humor (joking about his status as a waitlister), inspiration (a call for each classmate to become his or her best, most authentic self), oratory flair (the man clearly has a gift for public speaking), and brevity (under 10 minutes!).
